Writing Just to Write

I was born with the ability to see the best in everything. I learned as much from good experiences as I did from the bad ones. I am a cancer survivor and I feel I have a unique perspective because of it. In July of 1992 I was told I would be lucky to live a year longer and I learned to love life. I have a sense of humor about everything and I know that we must all live for today and feel all emotions while we still can. I am a Father, a Christian and a patriot. I learned long ago that although life is good, life is also hard. And though life is hard, life can be funny. My poems are written from my own point of view and I hope that you enjoy reading these little slices of my life as much as I enjoyed writing them. I write what I write because that’s what I do. If there is a reason it is plainly stated in my poems. If there is no reason, stated or implied, then I wrote it for fun and I hope you like it as well.
